Iain joined Runway Theatre Company in 1995 to play Wishee Washee in Aladdin. Over the past 22 years (and 17 pantos) Iain has played many roles, and became an award winning Baddie in 2012. Iain’s favourite roles over the years include The Tin Man (The Wizard of Oz), Hysterium (A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum), Henry Saunders (Lend Me A Tenor - The Musical), Lord Evelyn Oakleigh (Anything Goes) and Lurch (The Addams Family). Iain became the first person to receive an Honorary Membership in 2010.
No stranger to the Runway stage, Antony has appeared in Runway’s productions of Dick Whittington, Curtains and Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood. Most recently he played Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Favourite roles with other clubs include Billy
(Anything Goes), Bobby (Crazy For You) and Ren (Footloose). His next appearance will be with PMOS at the King’s Theatre, playing Jerry (made famous by Fred Astaire) in Top Hat.
This is Natalie’s third show with Runway, having joined the club last year for Curtains, and playing Swot in last year’s production of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood. Natalie has a wealth of theatre experience and counts herself lucky to have played many roles in plays, pantomimes and musicals over the years, including Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady) and Bianca
(Kiss Me, Kate). Natalie frequently performs as a concert soloist, and has helped raise money for various charities, including Mary’s Meals and Glasgow City Mission.
Graeme joined Runway in 2013 and has enjoyed pantos and musicals alike over the last four years. He was thrilled playing characters on the dark side but more recently the comedic sidekick roles have been his forte. He has enjoyed roles in Lend Me A Tenor - The Musical, and most recently Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical . He has had the privilege making and appearing in theatrical productions for the last 30 years with favourite roles in A Chorus Line, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Crucible. He is a keen singer starting out in the National Youth Choir of Scotland and as a musician in the National Children’s Orchestra.
Neal has been involved with amateur dramatics for over 25 years, during which time he has played a plethora of parts. In his five years with Runway he has played a diverse array of parts including a servant, an Alderman, a stage manager, a stranger and, most recently, the bus in our production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical. Neal is no stranger to the Eastwood Park Theatre stage, having been involved in a number of productions with Giffnock Theatre Players.
Susan cannot believe that after all the years she has been on the stage, she is making her panto debut as the Empress of China, playing opposite her real life husband, Tom. Susan has performed a variety of roles for Runway including Domina (A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum) and most recently Shirley (Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical). Susan was delighted to receive an Honorary Membership of Runway at the recent Anniversary celebrations.
Tom has appeared with various clubs in Glasgow and the West of Scotland for many years.
He has performed roles in everything from musical theatre to grand opera, as well as appearing in plays, concerts and cabaret. A member of Runway since 2011, Tom’s credits include Senex (A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum), Boone (Whistle Down The Wind), Magaldi (Evita) and Frank (Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical).
This is Holly’s third panto with Runway. In previous years Holly has loved playing Tommy the Cat (Dick Whittington), Fairy Bluebell (Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood) and Bambi (Curtains). Holly has been involved in both amateur and professional shows since the age of three. She trained at the Dance School of Scotland, then McKechnie School of Performing Arts before going on to do full time Musical Theatre training.
