Holding out for a Hero - and an entire cast!

We will shortly be starting rehearsals for our forthcoming production A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. Described as Broadway's greatest farce, this hilarious show, with music and lyrics by legendary musical theatre composer Stephen Sondheim, is fast paced, witty and irreverent.

An Information Evening will be held on Thursday 31 January at 7.30pm when details about the show, auditions and rehearsals will be given. Anyone interested in participating in the show is welcome to attend. New member auditions will also be held, and anyone aged 16 + interested in joining should bring a song of their choice with sheet music or backing track and £5 audition fee. (2012 Runway members who were in Whistle Down The Wind or Sleeping Beauty need not re-audition).  There will also be Principal singing preparation.

Due to renovation works being carried out at Clincarthill Church, the Information Evening for A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum on Thursday 31 January at 7.30pm has had to be relocated and will now be held in: Kinning Park Parish Church, Eaglesham Place, KinningPark, Glasgow, G51 1PS

On Thursday 7 February a Workshop will be held at 7.30pm for those interested in auditioning for a principal role. Principal Auditions will be held on Sunday 10 February at 7pm.

The above auditions and subsequent rehearsals will be held at Clincarthill Church Hall, 1220 Cathcart Road, Glasgow G42 9EU.
